Gilkerscleugh Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast is run by myself George Hodge and my partner Gemma Dickson. Gemma also has a beauty salon in the town of strathaven and I run our farm which has 450 sheep and 70 beef cows. Its located in a very peaceful valley where you hardly hear a sound. Our local village of Crawfordjohn 2 mile away has a family owned pub with a restaurant. We are conveniently located 3 mile from the M74 motorway connecting England to Scotland. We have several towns within half and hours drive such as Biggar, Lanarak and Stathaven. Where as Glasgow, Edinburgh and Carlisle are all about an hours drive.

From the south Exit Junction 13 off the M74, Take the first exit off the roundabout signposted Douglas B7078, Go up that road 0.7 mile and take first left signposted Crawfordjohn, go in that road 2.3 mile and the farmhouse sits right on the left hand side of the road.From the North Exit Junction 13 off the M74, go over the motorway flyover and follow as above.
